We are a large Real Estate Firm in the Boston Area recruiting for a strong Staff Accountant to join our organization. Our organization is established in the Boston marketplace, and has been consistently growing during 2012. The Ideal candidate will have their Accounting Degree, 2-4 years of corporate accounting/general ledger experience and Great Plains systems experience. This is perfect opportunity for someone looking to get there foot in the door in real estate and grow from within. The previous candidate was promoted into a accounting manager role. You'll be reporting directly to the Director of Finance working with an experienced team of 4 other staff and senior accountants.
- Preparation of financial statements
- General ledger account reconciliations
- Assist with the company wide audit planning
- Manage the AP & AR process from start to finish
- Budget to actual analysis and ad hoc analysis responsibilities
- Candidate must be degreed in accounting
- Have at least 2-4yrs of hands on corporate accounting experience.
- Prior experience with Great Plains is necessary to succeed
