Communications and Marketing Web Specialist 

The Communications and Marketing Web Specialist ensures that our clients home page and news pages remain current, clear, and complete and that the website content meets this Colleges needs for branding and providing information.



Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Managing the Colleges home page and news website, including conceptual framework, design, format, upgrades and content.
- Collaborating with information technology team and other web development offices on campus on digital marketing and communications efforts.
- Writing and editing marketing materials on behalf of clients college-wide, including e-mail newsletters, announcements, and other College collateral.
- Constructing, testing, and maintaining site development projects and pages as needed.
- Upholding brand awareness and standards in all of the Colleges marketing materials.
- Developing systems and procedures to ensure that the site contains the most current academic and administrative information available.
- Assisting with creating online marketing plans and evaluating the success of current web marketing initiatives.

 

Job Requirements:

Relevant full-time work experience in developing and maintaining a web site, including content management, format and design required. Familiarity with Adobe CS6 suite (including web content management systems) and e-mail newsletter creation also required. Applicants should be proficient with HTML, CSS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and both Mac and Windows platforms. A strong customer service orientation and attention to details are required, along with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must have a strong ability to establish priorities, manage multiple demands and projects, and meet deadlines.
