Human Resources Generalist, International School

We have an immediate need for a “jack of all trades” HR Generalist to join our staff and support the overall operation of the HR Department.  We are looking for someone who is approachable, responsive, and professional who will help cascade new company policies and act as a “hub” for any employee questions or concerns.  Strong administrative skills are crucial as you are responsible for preparing reports, analyzing and summarizing data trends, and maintaining and updating confidential employee information.  Previous benefits administration experience is a plus as you will also work with employees to identify the best individual plans.  We like to maintain a positive, inviting atmosphere, so the ideal candidate will be someone who has strong interpersonal skills and an ability to maintain a positive, mature attitude.

Responsibilities:
- Implement Human Resources programs including talent acquisition, employment processing, health benefits, compensation, employee relations, and retention
- Assist with coordinating employee benefits during open enrollment
- Respond to employee and candidate questions/concerns via telephone and email
- Organize and maintain sensitive employee information
- Draft documentation for employee procedures including new hire paperwork, training manuals, and termination letters
- Administrative duties as assigned by the HR Manager

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, either in Human Resources or a similar field
- 1-3 years’ experience, either in an HR setting or administrative role
- Previous knowledge of state and federal regulations as it relates to employment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
