Our client is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to assist the Program Manager of their dynamic organization in downtown Boston. This is a long term contract role that has a possibility of becoming a permanent position for the right candidate. The Event Planning Assistant will be exposed to many aspects of event planning while providing support in a busy office. The position will also offer the possibility of tremendous growth, as this position is vacant due to a recent promotion. For an entry level candidate seeking growth and experience within a reputable company, this is an exciting opportunity!


The primary responsibilities of this position will include the following:
·         General administrative duties with some light reception
·         Acting as a liaison between the Program Manager and clients
·         Email correspondence
·         Scheduling in Outlook
·         Proofreading of marketing materials


The qualifications for this position include excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of MS Office software and a Bachelor s degree. Candidates must have a customer service and teamwork oriented attitude in order to excel within this fun and goal oriented environment. Marketing, Communications, PR, or other related majors are preferred.
