RN Supervisor (Case Management)


We are currently looking to hire a Case Management Supervisor for a full-time position starting immediately in Boston. The ideal candidate will have either previous case management experience in a clinical setting or experience supporting and mentoring Case Managers in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include:
• Oversee the collaboration of Case Managers with physician reviewers, project leaders and associates to optimize member care
•Manage the relationship between members, families, providers, medical staff and the treatment team in order to develop, implement, authorize, and document treatment
•Direct staff to educate and support members and families regarding benefits, eligibility, policies and processes with the goal to empower self-advocacy.
• Support Case Managers to understand and appropriately manages member's benefits to maximize health care quality.
• Focus on efficient utilization management with emphasis on discharge planning.
• Complete cost avoidance and other reports to capture impact or scope of medical management responsibilities.
• Exhibit customer satisfaction orientation in every aspect of carrying out responsibilities.

Successful candidates should have:
• 3 years of clinical case management as a registered nurse or case management experience
• An active RN license
• Ability to lead
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills as well as ability to be a team player
