Senior Recruiter-Higher Education

We are an educational institution in the Fenway area seeking an experienced recruiter to join our 4 person HR staff.  For the Senior Recruiter role, we are looking for someone with experience identifying top administrative and general office talent to fill ongoing openings we have available.  The right candidate will have a “take charge” attitude with a knack for utilizing sourcing strategies to bring strong candidates to our institution.  Previous experience in higher education recruiting is preferred, but not required depending on experience.

Duties:
- Work with Recruiting Manager to develop effective recruiting plans and strategies
- Source applicants through various methods including advertising, job sites, and creating job postings
- Review resumes and prescreen candidates to identify strongest candidates
- Reference verification as well as background checks
- Maintain accurate and current applicant information using our database system
- Operational duties as needed by Recruiting Manager

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or Human Resources
- 1-3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in higher education
- Experience utilizing candidate sourcing solutions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Polished presentation with strong communication skills both written and verbal
