Student Affairs Assistant 

An opportunity at one of the area’s well-known universities has opened up in Cambridge.  Reporting directly to the Admissions Director, this role will appeal to highly motivated, project oriented administrative professionals.  In addition to supporting the admissions office, the Student Affairs Assistant will also provide support to the Dean’s office and several other departments’ administrative offices. This position will provide the opportunity for an administrative professional with at least one year of experience to network toward the next step in their career within growing, thriving college environment. 

Some of the projects handled by the Student Affairs Assistant will be:
-          Providing general support for students and faculty
-          Processing check requests and purchase orders
-          Coordinating setup for meetings and events
-          Preparing and processing exams
-          HR duties as needed
-          Taking and distributing meeting minutes
-          Point person for student course material distribution

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students and within an educational setting.  Someone with advanced MS Office skills is preferred.
