Our client, a cutting edge Boston Design Firm, is looking for a front end web developer to assist with a variety of projects including directing all web facets of the internet and intranet. Primary responsibilities in this role will be developing and maintaining the organizations web presence and standards.
-Perform day-to-day maintenance on the web sites
-Set Company standards for design; i.e. determine and document Web Best Practices
-Establish graphics and style libraries for Web Development
-Interact with users to determine usability requirements
-Perform Functional Testing of web applications to ensure usability
-Support the Development Team in the design of User Interfaces
-Perform navigation and browser Compatibility Analysis
-Assure Quality Control of Third Party Web Content and Link Validation
-Develop and maintain small web applications as required
-Advise staff and outside agencies on best optimization of web content for online deployment
-Convert documents for display on the corporate web site and Intranet
-Maintain existing document file structure and linkage
-Add new links to web sites
-Consult with users and Project Teams to determine needs, requirements and goals; developing web applications to meet those needs
-Creative Design (InDesign/Banners/etc)
