Benefits Services Assistant

We are seeking a detail oriented office professional for the benefits services department of a local health insurance provider. This is an ideal opportunity for a customer service professional who is looking to make a step into the healthcare or insurance field, or a recent graduate who is looking to gain some office experience. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, customer service oriented, and motivated to achieve excellence.

As the benefits assistant, this contract role will include setting up new files within the database, processing requests, reviewing reports and obtaining status updates, data entry, and making confidential calls to request medical information.
There will be a lot of coordinating between offices involved and the benefits assistant will need to be able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

This position requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience within a business setting.
