Healthcare Data Analyst (full-time)


Our client is looking for candidates who have solid analytical and programming skills for a job that opened up in their Performance Measurement department. This role will help promote improvements to the health insurance members overall experience. The position involves working with other departments including IT and Marketing to produce, verify and interpret data driven reports using cutting edge methods to better understand the quality of delivered health care.

This position will start as a remote (work from home) role until the company’s office, located in Quincy is reopened. Training and onboarding will be conducted remotely as well.


Responsibilities Include:

- Program, execute and test clinical performance measures for HEDIS measure certification

- Work with complex health care data to develop and produce standard and ad hoc member gaps in care reports

- Identifying root causes to issues and implement coding update to resolve issues

- Ad-hoc projects as needed from the department manager or IT team


Qualifications Include:

- Bachelor’s Degree

- At least 1+ years of experience with healthcare data and/or related data analytic experience

- Proficiency in SQL and SAS programming

- Experience with HEDIS measurement and analysis

- Master’s degree in public health, biostatistics/statistics is a plus

- Must have the ability to work individually on project and to collaborate across different departments of the organization
