Learning Experience Designer

Our client, a Higher Education partner located in Cambridge is looking for a candidate to fill their role of Learning Experience Designer.
This Designer will be reporting to the IT manager in charge of overseeing Learning Experience and will be part of a Remote Teaching Excellence strategic project team to guide the conversion of instructor-led courses into online delivery for the diverse medical education programs. Responsibilities Include:

- Assisting the faculty and program staff in the development of creative and solid learning strategies

- Developing instructional technologies in and across the curriculum in connection with school IT partners

- Training staff members on new technologies that have been integrated

- Produce materials using appropriate technology solutions including faculty, staff and student guides

- Other project based work as needed

 

Qualifications Include:

- 3+ years of professional experience as a Learning Experience Designer, preferably in an educational setting

- Online portfolio preferred (include link in resume/CV) with resources that show expertise in developing

- Expertise in online learning managements systems such as Blackboard or Canvas

- Expertise in video content management systems such as Kaltura, Mediasite, or Panopto

- Preferred expertise in virtual conferencing systems such as WebEx, or Zoom

- Candidate must have a flexible work schedule; work may take place outside of “normal” business hours to the availability of certain staff with which candidates would need to collaborate
