Member Services Representative – 3 weeks paid training included
We have an exciting new role with our partner looking for strong customer service representatives. This is for a major health insurance company who is headquartered just south of Boston, MA in Quincy, MA. This will be in the Member Services department reporting to the manager of Member Services. The first 3 weeks of the role will be training which will be paid for.
This is a fully remote role however candidate must be able to pick up computer equipment from their office in Quincy so please only apply if you would have the ability to go to Quincy for equipment pick-up. The company is also expecting new hires to have the ability to have a remote work station at home with a hard wire internet. The company does not want employees on a Wi-Fi connection. If you have previous call center experience and would like to work remotely, please consider this position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist insurance members with questions regarding their health insurance and/or prescriptions
- Answer all inbound calls and direct to the appropriate person or department
- Responding to email correspondence with customers
- Assist the management team with any special projects as needed
Other FAQs
- This role pays between $18-19/hr
- The schedules range from 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm. Candidates must be available for either shift
Qualifications Include:
- High School Diploma/GED required. Recent college graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Very strong verbal communication skills
- Previous experience working in Medicare is preferred but not required
- Previous and/or recent experience working in a call center environment is preferred
- Must be tech savvy: employees should have a set work station with a reliable hard wire internet connection
